This is a book about emigration during the war, seen from the inside. The text is  based on our correspondence with friends, notes and personal diaries that were kept all this time. Thus, the text consists of many voices that mix with each other. However, time here has a linear structure so that we can trace the internal changes that the emigrating people go through.
The text is accompanied by photographs taken during my first year abroad and photographs taken from the media.
